Naples Yellow Red In Real Life (IRL) captures the fleeting warmth of dusk as the sun sinks behind Mount Coolum. Casuarina and pandanus trees frame the dunes where long untamed grasses sway. The light spills over the waves, distant mountains softened by the glow of evening as the whole landscape moves with the wind and the tide.

The use of Naples Yellow nods to its historical significance, a pigment once essential to classical masterpieces. I wanted to play with colour in a way that connects history and the now. There’s a certain awe in witnessing sunset colours—so stunning, they feel almost too vivid to be real, even in paint.
