Welcome! I'm Ro.

I am an Australian contemporary artist and designer working primarily with acrylic on canvas. I have a background in graphic design across both private and government sectors, which continues to inform my approach, blending visual communication with fine art practice.

Following a spinal cord injury in 2019, my focus shifted toward atmospheric landscape and botanical works inspired by coastal ecosystems and regenerative species such as banksia. Working from my Sunshine Coast studio, I explore cycles of disruption, vulnerability and renewal through layered colour, texture and immersive compositions.

My practice is grounded in observation of the natural world and my lived experience of change, using painting as a way to reflect on how environments and people adapt, break down and regenerate over time.
