Terms of service

Agreement

• By commissioning a painting from Ro Clark, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Payment

• Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total cost is required to secure the commission.
• Final Payment: The remaining balance is due upon completion of the painting before delivery or pickup.
• Payment Methods: Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, PayPal, or other agreed-upon options.

Timeline

• Estimated Completion:
  The timeline for completion will be agreed upon during the pro osal stage.
  Delays may occur due to the creative process or unforeseen circumstances.
• Updates: The artist will provide regular updates on the progress of the painting.

Revisions

• Included Revisions: Minor revisions are included in the initial agreement. The client may request up to two revisions during the creation process.
• Additional Revisions: Any additional revisions beyond the included ones may incur extra costs.

Cancellation

• Client Cancellation: If the client needs to cancel the commission, they must notify
  the artist as soon as possible. The deposit is non-refundable.
• Artist Cancellation: If the artist needs to cancel the commission, the client will
  receive a full refund of any payments made.

Delivery and Shipping

• Delivery: The artist will arrange for delivery or pickup of the completed painting.
• Shipping Costs: Any additional costs for shipping and handling will be the
  responsibility of the client.
• Packaging: The painting will be packaged securely to ensure it arrives safely.

Care and Maintenance

• Handling: Handle the painting with care to avoid damage. Use clean hands or gloves when touching the artwork.
• Cleaning: Dust the painting regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using water or cleaning agents.
• Display: Display the painting in a location away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and humidity to preserve its quality.

Copyright and Usage Rights

• Artist's Rights: The artist retains the copyright to the painting and may use images of the artwork for promotional purposes.
• Client's Rights: The client has the right to display the painting in their home or business but may not reproduce or sell copies of the artwork without the
  artist's permission.
